Messages are regularly received by our Emergency Departments and EMS units. Here are a few of those:
October 3 may have started out like any other day for you. It certainly did fo rmy mother. She is a wife of 55 years, a mother of three grown children, a grandmother of six, an avid golfer, a sailboarder, and a wakeboarder--an active 75-year-old to say the least!
On October 3, Mother was driving from Pickwick to Jackson for a routine doctor's visit when she was in a terrible car crash. None of us had any idea that our paths would cross that day but we learned later than you were among the first on the scene to the accident. We are so grateful for all you and your team did that day to help the wife, the mother, and the grandmother who means so much to us. We are convinced that your expert care and gentle handling made all the difference in giving her an open door to a full and complete recovery.
Some people are heroes by accident and some people are heroes by choice. For us, you and your team are heroes by every definition. Thank you for all you did that morning--and that you do every day. We are forever grateful.

Thank you to everyone at Emergency Services for the beautiful bouquet of flowers you sent to me while I was in the hospital. They really cheered me up!

To the paramedics, ER staff, and helicopter pilots who took care of my angel,
The love and concern shown by everyone means so much to me. Again, thanks to everyone who assisted with my son. Your efforts will never be forgotten.
